History:
Leila attends the NC School of the Arts in theatre. Leila's family just moved to the Triangle area a month ago from Wilmington to keep an eye on their wayward child. Her biggest problem is living up to her parents' unreal expectations; they don't approve of her 'unnatural' interest in drama and storytelling and keep trying to get her to transfer to the School of Science and Math. She is able to attend the School of the Arts only by dint of a (Kinain) aunt's persuasion. She went through the Chrysalis over a year ago, but beyond the usual mentoring and instruction through the initial stages she hasn't derived any benefit from becoming a Changeling.
Leila loves adventure. As a wilder, the idea of death is foreign to her. Adventures are a siren song in her blood. The only thing better than having an adventure is telling one. As far as Leila is concerned, adventures needn't take place far from hearth and freehold, either; she provokes dissension on purpose occasionally, dropping unguarded truths in ears they weren't meant for and enjoying the resultant explosions.
Rarely, if ever, does emotion touch her deeply; Leila maintains a calm facade that is ruffled only by the appearance of her true love, Robert O'Connell ap Fiona. The rakish Unseleighe Sidhe fascinates her in more ways than one, and she'll do almost anything to remain by his side.
On occasion, Leila feels as though she is living a double life, and her two faces do spill over one into the other; eshu wanderlust touching her mundane teenage life, and wild teen antics lacing her freehold storytelling. She often regrets that her parents would never believe any of her Changeling life, but finds that memories and recollections of such life are an amusing way to engage her teen friends and pass boring lectures from her family.
All the same, those memories provide her with some semblance of protection against the plots and scheming of other changelings, most notably the noble Houses of the Sidhe. Other changelings should beware of wordplay with Leila, because what may seem a slip and a mistake in the endless politics could be completely intentional - and she will watch with avid glee the results. In fact, it was pointed out to her on more than one occasion, at the last freehold she frequented, that she, far more than many changelings, mixes her two Legacies, Seleighe and Unseleighe, in an unpredictable blend that makes her a formidable opponent in any challenge other than physical.

Appearance:
(mortal seeming)
Leila's mortal appearance is of a 16-year-old girl, 5'6", with shoulder length brown hair that curls slightly at the ends. Her eyes were blue, but are now a startling and vivid teal that seems to glow in direct sunlight. Her skin is fair, her face plumply oval, and her bones medium, giving her a slight weight problem. She wears classic stylish clothes, usually bearing the brand names Old Navy or Gap. Leila appears the quintessential stereotyped teenage girl, complete with cell phone, arrogant attitude, and flashy jewelry. The only jarring note is her chosen method of transportation: a Honda motorbike.
(fae seeming)
However, Leila is not at all what she seems. Her fae appearance is slightly older, taller, slenderer, and darker. She appears 20ish, stands 5'8" in (preferred) bare feet, and looks as though one could break her in half with two hands - which may be possible, although no one has tried yet. Her eyes remain the same, although slightly tilted at the corners, and stand out even more vividly against her dark skin. Black hair swirls around her shoulders to her waist, pinned from her face by a group of tiny chimerical butterflies. Loose pants or short shorts, brilliantly coloured shirts, and bright swathes of fabric are favoured items of clothing. Jewelry is less flashy and more tasteful.
