Kaiyo is pretty in a cute kind of way. Her hair
is about shoulder length, and curly, especially when it's just clean. It's
brown, crayola marker kind of brown, with reddish highlights that she puts
in herself. She's got wispy bangs which are always in the way and she constantly
brushes them aside. Kaiyo has a big cute grin on her round face most of the
time. Her blue eyes are very friendly, except when she gets mad, and then
they turn a stormy kind of gray colour. But she doesn't get mad very often. |

| CLOTHES | Kaiyo has a good fashion sense. She likes to wear what's in style, which is clunky shoes, wide-legged pants and corduroys, and cute shirts with designs on them. Sometimes she wears pullover sweaters, and she also likes any T-shirt with a swimming saying on it. Mostly she wears blues, white, and camel/taupe colours, with red and purple thrown in sometimes. Mostly she wears dolphin earrings, and has two or three different dolphin necklaces for jewelry. | ||
| FUKU | Kaiyo has a normal fuku, with the round or heart shaped bow center in dark blue, along with her gloves and collar. Her front bow is silver and the back one is teal. Her skirt is a little different in colour, as it goes from white at the top to dark blue at the bottom. She wears laced shoes like Neptune, but they are low heels and dark blue coloured. | ||
| HENSHIN | Tethys Power, make up With her silver and dark blue power pen in hand, Kaiyo thrusts her arm into the air and shouts, "Tethys Power, make up!" A wave spirals out from her center and engulfs her. When it subsides, Sailortethys appears. She winks as her lipstick goes on and blows a kiss as her Dolphin Staff appears in her right hand. She strikes her pose, left foot in front of right, left hand on hip, Staff held in right hand with its base in between her feet. A crashing wave is in the background. Tethys Star Power, make up With her dark blue and silver star pen in hand, Kaiyo thrusts in the air and shouts, "Tethys Star Power, make up!" She gets her nails done like Sailormoon, except that they're colored silver. The transformation sequence is the same as the "Tethys Power" one. At the end, the sign of Tethys is in the background. Tethys Crystal Power, make up Kaiyo shouts, "Tethys Crystal Power, make up!" The symbol of Tethys appears, intertwined with a stylized dolphin, and is enclosed by a dark blue globe. She raises her pen into the air and the globe drops on top of it. The transformation sequence is the same as the "Tethys Power" one. At the end, the stylized dolphin glows in the background. |

| ATTACKS | Aqua Wave Spiral Sailortethys holds the Dolphin Staff in both hands parallel with her waist. She says, "Aqua Wave . . . " and swings the Staff in a slow circle over her head. The she cries, "Spiral!" and throws the Staff at the enemy. As the Staff flies, water gathers about it, until when it strikes it has the full force of a storm wave. Deep Aqua Reflection This is a defensive power, much like Saturn's "Silence Wall." Sailortethys stands with both hands out in front of her, index fingers and thumbs touching so her hands form a triangle. She says, "Deep Aqua . . ." and swings her hands up and over her head, then down to either side. Then she brings her hands together at the wrist with a snap and cries, "Reflection!" Anything the enemy throws at her will be reflected back to some degree. Oceanic Turbulence Sailortethys stands feet shoulder width apart and holds her arms out in front of her, palms together. She says, "Oceanic . . ." and slowly raises her arms upwards and arches her back as she pulls an invisible bowstring with her right hand. A ball of swirling teal energy begins to grow at her left hand, then flashes down to form the bow and arrow. She snaps forward, drops to one knee and fires while saying, "Turbulence!" The watery arrow flies at the enemy and strikes the ground at their feet, where it has much the same effect as "World Shaking." Double Aqua Wave Spiral Same as "Aqua Wave Spiral" but more powerful. Sailortethys holds the Dolphin Staff in both hands parallel with her waist, saying, "Double . . ." She says, "Aqua Wave . . . " and swings the Staff in a slow circle over her head. The she cries, "Spiral!" and throws the Staff at the enemy. As the Staff flies, water gathers about it, until when it strikes it has the full force of a tsunami wave. Tethys Splintering Crash The stylized dolphin appears and Super Sailortethys places her hand in front of it. She says, "Tethys . . ." and the symbol of Tethys appears in glowing dark silver. She slowly brings both hands over her head, and energy gathers in them, forming two separate balls of energy. She says, "Splintering . . . " and spins around, so that the energy spreads into a disk. Then she throws the disk of energy at the enemy while saying, "Crash!" When it strikes, it has the force of both "Oceanic Turbulence" and "Double Aqua Wave Spiral." |

| HISTORY | During the Silver Millennium, Sailortethys was both Sailor Neptune's cousin and Sailor Saturn's cousin. It was a complicated family relationship and not worth going into here. She fought valiantly to defend her moon during the attack of the Negaverse, but died in the attempt. Like the rest of the Senshi, she was sent to Earth to be reborn. Kaiyo was reborn on Earth to a Japanese father and a half Japanese, half Irish mother in Ireland. When she was five they moved back to Japan. Kaiyo attended private schools until age 14 when she began to attend the same school as Michiru and Haruka, Mugen Gakuen. She did not know she was a Senshi until, for her 15th birthday, her mother gave her a book that she said was given her to give to her daughter. Kaiyo read it and it was the history of the Silver Millennium. At the end of it was a list of all the Senshi, and whom they had been reborn as and where. Kaiyo immediately set out to meet as many of the other Senshi as she could. First she met Michiru and Haruka, who took her under their wing(s), even though she's actually older than they are. She had not fought in a battle until Galaxia tried to take over the Earth, when she had to fight to defend her starseed. She won and began to carefully watch so she could defend others. | ||
