“It \u2014 it doesn\u2019t matter.” She can\u2019t identify \/anything\/ about the voice. Nothing at all except an obscure sort of pain, that this person should think that they\u2019ve gone so far they can\u2019t come back. Her own voice strengthens. “You won\u2019t hurt me.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A pool of darkness slowly began to form in front of Summer, and a figure emerged covered in a black slime that started to melt away, revealing familiar blood red hair, and the so familiar brown right eye and bright green left eye.<\/p>\n

“Hi Summer.”<\/p>\n

Summer shrieked and flung herself at the figure, laughing and sobbing. \u201cMarie, oh Marie, Marie.\u201d She hugged the other girl, face buried in her shoulder, all but squeezing the breath out of her.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Marie blinked before laughing softly and softly petting the top of her older sister\u2019s hair, \u201cWell if I didn\u2019t know any better I would say I was missed.\u201d<\/p>\n

“You \u2014 you \u2014” Summer spluttered, drawing back to hit Marie gently with a fist, “You little \/shit\/! You just, you just disappeared. Oh my god, you just fucking disappeared and I didn\u2019t even know where to start to look, anything.” She held Marie off by the shoulders, looking her over, then shook her. “Don\u2019t you ever do that to me again!”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Yea well I have always had a habit of disappearing, sorry love.”<\/p>\n

With a smile she pulled Summer close and hugged her. \u201dDon\u2019t worry I don\u2019t have to go back any time soon, this is kinda a vacation of sorts.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
