The Mesmer gave a hiss of utter annoyance, but when he opened his mouth to snap about the situation, it came out a low meow. Blinking, he cleared his throat and forced the English language to come to his vocal cords, \u201cThose bloody Grey-Faces are what \u2018appened, decided it\u2019d be a good idea to turn me into a bloody feline.\u201d \u00a0He curled into the couch and, out of instinct, licked his new-found cat claws, \u201cKeep me company \u2018til this goes away?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer lifted a hand to cover her mouth. He was already annoyed, better not to make it worse by letting him \/see\/ she was laughing at him. She crossed to the couch, perching on the edge, and touched a fingertip to one ear. \u201cIt\u2019s very cute, actually.\u201d She glanced up and down his body, noting the fangs, ears, and tail to go along with the involuntary meow. \u201cIt really does suit you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The cat ear twitched involuntarily when she poked it, his nose scrunching up in a very cat-like way. \u201cYeah well, I don\u2019t do cute,\u201d he told her with a roll of his gleaming eyes. Deep down, he knew that she was pretty much right; the cat thing did<\/em> suit him, matching up with his usual personality pretty easily, but still\u2026 this was a little extreme.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She didn’t hide this smile. “Yes you do,” Summer murmured. She settled into the leather to curl around his body, carefully tucking his tail around his waist so she didn’t sit on it.
