Totally the Winter Soldier: none of the agency, but with the full knowledge of everything he does, which makes him technically complicit (but again, the choice between doing evil and death is not a real choice, it\u2019s just coercion), and it\u2019s going to really fuck him up when he gets rescued. He\u2019s going to live with that forever, even though he never had a choice in the matter.<\/p>\n

I need him to be rescued, reunited with his son, and taken someplace safe and quiet so he can recover and be safe. I just need him to not be used and hurt by everyone anymore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It\u2019s not even the choice between doing evil and death. It\u2019s the choice between doing evil and them hurting his son <\/em>and also death.<\/p>\n

Garrett hasn\u2019t only dehumanized him, he\u2019s also actively used his humanity against him.<\/p>\n

(Gosh, it\u2019s a really strange coincidence how the Nazi splinter group systematically experiments on, dehumanizes, and\u00a0 destroys the families of people of color, isn\u2019t it?)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
