You know, funny story: There\u2019s this craft store called Michaels. Look, my sister knits, and she goes to Michaels. So my sister called me and she\u2019s like, \u201cOh my god, I\u2019m at Michaels, picking up yarn. You have a poster at Michaels.\u201d I\u2019m like, \u201cWhat?\u201d She\u2019s like, \u201cThere\u2019s a poster, there\u2019s a Falcon poster at Michaels.\u201d I\u2019m like, \u201cHoly s**t!\u201d She\u2019s like, \u201cI\u2019m gonna come and pick you up, and we\u2019re gonna see your poster in this store.\u201d So she picks me up and we go to Michaels.<\/p>\n

We go in, and I see the poster and I\u2019m like, \u201cOh, this is\u2026.\u201d She\u2019s like, \u201cI know, I know.\u201d I said, \u201cI\u2019m gonna sign these posters.\u201d I was like, \u201cThat would be amazing, you buy a poster and it\u2019s like, actually signed by the Falcon.\u201d Like, it would blow my mind. So I go to the front, I buy a Sharpie, I run back to the back of the store. And she\u2019s like, \u201cI\u2019m gonna take a picture of you signing it.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019m in this store and I\u2019m signing all the posters. The manager comes out, he\u2019s like, \u201cHey, whatcha doing?\u201d I was like, \u201cOh man, I\u2019m signing these posters so when people buy \u2018em, they\u2019re signed.\u201d He\u2019s like, \u201cWell, people are not gonna buy \u2018em if they\u2019re signed.\u201d And I was like, \u201cNo, no, no, it\u2019s cool. I\u2019m pretty sure there won\u2019t be a problem.\u201d And he goes, \u201cYeah, but it is gonna be a problem, you\u2019re messin\u2019 up my inventory.\u201d And I\u2019m like, \u201cNo, my man, trust me. I mean, I\u2019m the Falcon, that\u2019s me!\u201d And he goes, \u201cYeah, right. You\u2019re gonna buy those posters.\u201d I said, \u201cWhat?\u201d He\u2019s like, \u201cYou\u2019re gonna buy all those posters or I\u2019m gonna call the police.\u201d<\/p>\n

He rolls up all the posters and goes to the front of the store. And I had to buy like 60 Falcon posters that I signed in Michaels.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You can\u2019t just go in randomly signing things, not without some kind of official certificate. Nobody is going to walk into some random store not known for its collectible items and assume that\u2019s really a famous actor\u2019s signature. At any comic book so if you try to sell a poster without official proof of authenticity, they\u2019re most likely not going to buy it. Now if it were an autograph session with a lot of witnesses then sure. They also indicate proof inside the book for those not present. Otherwise just doing it without permission would be pointless. Might as well put them up on eBay. Why not just offer the option on your website? You would think this is obvious, but I guess not. (via tzun<\/a>)<\/p>\n
