to some shitty stuff i\u2019ve seen on my dash recently. it\u2019s super simplified, so if you\u2019d like to know some more indepth stuff on how exactly it works, google it\u2014OR BETTER YET actually talk to a mental health doctor psychiatrist person wow<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Important!!! Also people should really REALLY think before they go saying something stupid like, \u201cYou\u2019d be so much better off your pills, you\u2019re too dependent on them!\u201d Going off SSRI\u2019s cold turkey can have huge side effects (one of which is suicidal thoughts), which is why doctors like to keep in touch while you\u2019re doing it. Telling people to quit their meds without having done any research into what those meds are and what side effects they could potentially face if they quit them is incredibly ignorant. Please don\u2019t say stuff like this: think of the damage that would be caused if people actually took that advice.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>\n<p>Never go off your pills or change your dose without consulting your doctor.<br \/>\nIf your pills aren\u2019t working, or if you are experiencing side effects (a medication that is great for loads of people can seriously fuck up a very few, and this doesn\u2019t mean that there\u2019s something wrong with you), talk to your doctor immediately. You may need to adjust your dosage. You may need to take a different medication altogether. That\u2019s okay.<br \/>\nIf you know nothing about medication except what you\u2019ve seen on tv or movies, or read in teen scare novels, or heard the Stones sing \u201cMother\u2019s Little Helper,\u201d you know nothing about medication, and you should not offer an opinion. Seriously. Be quiet. Shh.
