Send me a \" \u25cb \" for my character's reaction to finding yours sitting outside in the rain, upset and crying<\/span><\/pre>\n
Erica was wet and cold. The one day she\u2019d decided to walk to school, the weather had freakishly decided to turn in the middle of the day and bucket down with rain. She reached her front yard when she saw her red haired friend sitting on the doorstep in tears. \u201cSummer? Sweetie, what\u2019s wrong?\u201d She ran over to her and embraced her in a hug, pulling the girl\u2019s head into her shoulder to try and comfort her. She hated seeing Summer sad and she would do anything to make whatever was making her cry go away.<\/span><\/small><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“You\u2019re not going to be alone, ok, I promise I will stay with you through all of this.” Erica pulled Summer into her arms and hugged her tightly. She kissed her forehead softly, she was her best friend and she wasn\u2019t going to let anything bad happen to her. “Isaac is not going to judge you, he is a werewolf that used to get locked in a freezer.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
That brought a broken laugh from Summer. \u201cWhat a contrast. The girl with spontaneous combustion and a boy who was locked in a freezer. He\u2019ll hate me.\u201d She fought back a second bout of tears.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“He\u2019s not going to hate you, Summer.” She wiped away the girl\u2019s tears again, pulling her close. “Why would he hate you? There is no relation between those two things.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“Because I’m even weirder now that I was before. I don’t know.” It didn’t make any sense in her own head, either. She just expected everyone, by default, to fear and hate her now — the way mundanes felt about werewolves, actually. “I already practically read people’s minds.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
