Erica was wet and cold. The one day she\u2019d decided to walk to school, the weather had freakishly decided to turn in the middle of the day and bucket down with rain. She reached her front yard when she saw her red haired friend sitting on the doorstep in tears. \u201cSummer? Sweetie, what\u2019s wrong?\u201d She ran over to her and embraced her in a hug, pulling the girl\u2019s head into her shoulder to try and comfort her. She hated seeing Summer sad and she would do anything to make whatever was making her cry go away.<\/span><\/small><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“Well that\u2019s my point, we don\u2019t know what\u2019s happening and that\u2019s why we should talk to the others, no one\u2019s going to judge you they\u2019ll just try to help.” She lifted her hand up and stroked Summer\u2019s red hair softly. “I\u2019ll help you get through this.”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“Yeah, okay.” She sighed sharply, and straightened her shoulders. “We can go talk to Deaton. And \u2014 and the others.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
“Good, I just want to help you, ok?” She knew that Summer was still freaking out about everything but she just wanted to make sure that she\u2019d be ok.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
Summer gave a half-smile and pushed Erica gently. “I know that.” Putting her hand out from under the bare shelter of the doorway, she showed the damp palm to the blonde. “Did you know it was raining?”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
