Erica couldn\u2019t help but to laugh as Summer smacked straight into a lamp post. \u201cOh my god, are you ok?\u201d She was giggling as she walked over to her and put her arms around her shoulder.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“He\u2019s kind of still wound up in Lydia, who is still all about Aiden,” Summer commented, about Stiles. “You see what I mean? He probably likes someone else, and I\u2019m just \u2026 I\u2019m not gonna be \u2014 I can\u2019t, I just can\u2019t. He knows someone likes him and that\u2019s all it\u2019s gonna be.” She made pretend wolfy claws at Erica. “What the hell was up with that anyway? I don\u2019t even get it. Why should being, you know, bitten make so much difference to you?”<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Hey, I\u2019ve pretty much accepted defeat with Stiles, unless some miracle causes him to actually think about me that way. But I know that Isaac doesn\u2019t like anyone else, he would\u2019ve told me if he did. Come on Summer, you\u2019ve gotta take a risk. The bite gave me more confidence, so I was able to act confident and express myself, basically. Also not worrying about seizures really helped.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I already took a risk!” she pointed out. “I\u2019m talking to him, aren\u2019t I? He just doesn\u2019t know it\u2019s me. I don\u2019t want to mess it up. Anyway,” she looked down, gnawing at her lip, “unlike you I don\u2019t get to not worry about convulsions. It\u2019s \/me\/, Erica. Nobody\u2019s ever going to like me like that.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“That is true. But I think he\u2019d really like you, you don\u2019t need to worry about it. Isaac\u2019s not the kind of guy who would tease you or judge you, he\u2019s a really good guy, which I\u2019m sure you know.” She smiled over at Summer and tried to reassure her. “Summer, you\u2019re gorgeous and amazing, Isaac would be lucky to be with you.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer shook her head and laughed helplessly. “You are an amazing friend, Erica. There aren’t that many girls who are like you.” She hugged the blonde sideways. “I’m just not ready yet for him to know it’s me.
