Poor choices everywhere."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"tumblr_blog\" href=\"http:\/\/scifigrl47.tumblr.com\/post\/105153411276\/poor-choices-poor-choices-everywhere\">scifigrl47<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>So guess who picked up \u201cDisney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes\u201d edition on Black Friday because it was cheap enough so that I could justify it?<\/p>\n<p>Yeah. \u00a0Poor choices.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, tonight we learned the following:<\/p>\n<p>You can build a house. \u00a0You can furnish that house. \u00a0You can put tiny blocky animals in your house. \u00a0We were hoping to go full on crazy Cat Hero, but the game does not give you cats. \u00a0The game gives you bears.. \u00a0Our house is wall to wall Iron Man and Thor posters and more than 2\/3rds of the available floor space is covered in bears. \u00a0It\u2019s like a frat house dorm room, except with WAY WAY WAY MORE BEARS than the average.<\/p>\n<p>The other 1\/3rd of our floor is covered in rats. \u00a0That\u2019s Kate\u2019s fault.<\/p>\n<p>Tiny versions of characters roam free, and you can pick them up. \u00a0Tiny Hulk is adorable. \u00a0So is tiny Coulson. \u00a0Tiny Nick Fury is just an angry, angry little plushie. \u00a0You can throw these guys. \u00a0They have little parachutes for it you throw them off of a high thing like a building not that we did that immediately no not at all.<\/p>\n<p>Nothing saves them if you spike them head first into the ground. \u00a0They aren\u2019t hurt, but their heads go into the ground and they flail around for a few seconds. \u00a0It\u2019s endlessly amusing.<\/p>\n<p>You can pick up little towns people. \u00a0And your fellow game characters. \u00a0<span>There is nothing goddamn funnier than Thor holding a tiny Loki townsperson, and both of them being carried by Iron Man. \u00a0It\u2019s like a pyramid of father issues, power trips and nice hair.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Kate is not reassured when I scream, \u201cCome back, I\u2019m not going to shoot you, my repulsor is up for HUGGING.\u201d \u00a0Mostly because I then shoot missiles at her.<\/p>\n<p>If there is a flat surface, we will fall off of it and die. \u00a0often. \u00a0In a fiery ball of doom if there\u2019s a car involved.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe at some point we\u2019ll figure out how to play the levels.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>scifigrl47: So guess who picked up \u201cDisney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes\u201d edition on Black Friday because it was cheap enough so that I could justify it?
