Victor frowned and gently swatted her hand away, wiping the tears with his own hand and kissing her eyes. \u201cI know, an\u2019 I want t\u2019 stay with you, I\u2019d give the world for you even though it scares me t\u2019 death Summer. It won\u2019t do either of us any good if I\u2019m dead though.\u201d He sighed shakily, not making eye contact for a moment then smiled sadly. His lips found hers slowly and rhythmically as he kissed her. \u201cI\u2019ll do it. I\u2019ll stop. I dunno how but I\u2019ll figure something out. I\u2019ll stop for you if you want me t\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It hurt. His worry, his fear, his pain, his sorrow \u2014 she made an effort to shut it out, hard though it was with his skin to hers. But she could barely respond to his kisses, cutting herself with how selfish she was. Who was she to ask him to change, just because she was a little afraid? That wasn\u2019t fair to him, not at all.<\/p>\n

“Don\u2019t,” Summer said at last, turning her face away. “Don\u2019t, I don\u2019t deserve it. I\u2019m sorry, it was selfish, I shouldn\u2019t\u2019ve said it.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He cupped her face with his hand and moved so that their eyes met again. \u201cNo, please, don\u2019t say tha\u2019 love. I want tha\u2019, everything tha\u2019 you said, I want it. I want t\u2019 be a better person for you I jus\u2019 haven\u2019t a bloody clue where t\u2019 start. I\u2019m so scared I\u2019m going t\u2019 fuck everything up Summer \u2018cos this is all I\u2019ve ever known but I want t\u2019 try. You\u2019re the only person tha\u2019s ever made me want t\u2019 try.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“You aren’t a bad person, Victor, that’s not what I meant at all!” Summer burst out. “Do you really think \/I\/ of all people would have anything at all to do with you if you were \/bad\/?
