She took a moment to pull the ends out free, leaving the whole knee-length mass to flow down one shoulder, and curled against Vex\u2019s chest.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Vex let out a soft, contented chuckle at Summer\u2019s words. \u201cThat \/was\/ the plan,\u201d he murmured as he continued to play with her hair, running his fingers through it, twisting it lightly between his fingertips. His other arm remained coiled tightly around her, protectively, and despite his calm state, his worry still fluttered around him like a thick aura of concern.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Keep doing that and I&#8217;ll do anything you say,&#8221; Summer murmured.
