You\u2019re more than welcome to keep me company.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Mesmer gave an almost nervous nod of his head at her words, shrugging as if it didn\u2019t matter despite the fact that it did. \u201cAlright then,\u201d he decided with a bit of a smile, stretching where he sat as he sipped at his coffee. \u201c\u2018Ope ya don\u2019t mind I used your coffee-maker,\u201d he told her, referring to the little machine that she\u2019d used when they\u2019d first met. \u201cWas out of coffee at my place. Needed the caffeine,\u201d he added as an explanation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Of course not. It&#8217;s not as though I&#8217;m going to drink the stuff.&#8221; Summer rubbed her fingers around the IV line, hating the way it felt in her arm. It made her feel vaguely nauseous, on top of the headache.
