“Vex?” Summer fumbled around for the right words. “Why are you here?”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Mesmer rolled his eyes at her comment, not quite caring as he told her, \u201c\u2018Course.\u201d His thoughts weren\u2019t focused on anything at this point; he\u2019d given himself a headache trying to figure out why people would do this, and had decided indirectly that it was best to let it go for the moment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

He blinked in surprise when she spoke, and then his eyes flickered to look at her. \u201cYou were \u2018urt, so I was\u2026\u201d and then he realized that she had to have meant why he was here to begin with, why he\u2019d been in the area. \u201cI guess I just wanted to see you before work. “You were just coming to see me, because you wanted to?” Summer bit her lips to hide the pleased smile. “Today’s plans were just house chores anyway; I was taking the trash out earlier.” She took in a deep breath, then laughed a little, ruefully. “Mine just isn’t a very busy life, Vex.
