“You, sleep?” she teases. “I didn\u2019t know you did. Maybe you can coax Loki to share the bed with the glow. I can\u2019t sleep with that much light. Some nights,” she pokes at the arc reactor, faint under his shirt, “even this is too much.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I do sometimes,” he replies, feigning defensiveness.\u00a0 “You woke me up the other day, remember?\u00a0 Someone\u2019s gotta be asleep to wake them up.”\u00a0 The entire time he speaks, he\u2019s also distracted by the way the light shifts on the walls whenever he moves.\u00a0 “I look like I\u2019m radioactive.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“You\u2019re not radioactive,” she says dryly. “Sparkly, though. Very sparkly.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I\u2019m not sparkly<\/em>,\u201d he insists, remarkably unperturbed by the situation.\u00a0 He wasn\u2019t going to go running around in public like this, but worse things had happened.\u00a0 \u201cShiny, yes, but no sparkly.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
