Vex let out a choked sound, not sure how to really respond to Summer\u2019s words. They weren\u2019t close, barely knew each other, and who in their right bloody mind<\/em> would trust somebody in that regard when they\u2019d only just met? Snickering slightly, he purred the words, \u201cNever woulda expected to \u2018ear that from a pretty thing like you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Vex smirked against Summer\u2019s lips as he continued the rough pattern of kisses, not wanting her to breathe, not wanting her to think, just wanting to have every bit of her attention. He wanted her to be afraid of him, wanted to make her give in and wipe that cocky look in her eyes away. He could sense the struggle against his hands, which only made him hold her wrists tighter. Finally, he pulled back from the kisses momentarily to speak, \u201cTryin\u2019 to get a\u2019ay, Crumpet?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She panted, \u201cYes,\u201d twisting at his grip again. The sense of his will, of his need to break her, brought a twisted smile to her mouth, faintly bruised by his kisses. \u201cYou can\u2019t tame me,\u201d Summer dared, \u201ccome on, Vex.\u201d She laughed, a little crazily. \u201cYou \/still\/ think I\u2019m sweet and innocent and unspoiled.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Vex ran his tongue over his own lips as he looked at the girl\u2019s face. The sight of faint bruising across her mouth gave him a dark burst of pleasure, having already marked her as his<\/strong><\/em>– if only for this one night, these matter of hours. The challenge stirred against his mood, making him almost seem to growl as he spoke, \u201cI\u2019ll bet I can, m\u2019dear.\u201d At her next words, he glared and told her, \u201cNot \u2018ardly.\u201d Bringing his mouth to hers again, he kissed her forcibly, though only briefly, before bringing his mouth to her throat. Nipping at the skin momentarily, he then bit down with a sadistic grin forming on his lips.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

When his teeth sank into her throat, her knees went watery. Her breathing had already sped up under the influence of his dark desire, and Summer closed her eyes and sagged briefly in his hold. The pain was sharp, driving adrenaline through her veins, and she thrilled to it, even as she resisted falling under its spell. “Vex,” she squeaked out.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
