Vex let out a choked sound, not sure how to really respond to Summer\u2019s words. They weren\u2019t close, barely knew each other, and who in their right bloody mind<\/em> would trust somebody in that regard when they\u2019d only just met? Snickering slightly, he purred the words, \u201cNever woulda expected to \u2018ear that from a pretty thing like you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The Mesmer met her eyes and found himself unable to hold back a less-than-sane laugh at her words. The challenge was all it took to rev up the last bit of his impatient-personality; stepping forward a step, he closed the distance between them and found himself grabbing her by the collar of her shirt, glaring down into her eyes. His own seemed to burn with an odd kind of dominance that Vex usually didn\u2019t feel. \u201cDon\u2019t test me, Summer,\u201d he warned.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She shivered under his hand. Choking wasn\u2019t normally her thing, but apparently there was going to be an exception in Vex\u2019s case. \u201cI want to test you,\u201d she said, voice going a bit breathy, \u201cI want to push you until you push back, until you force me into my place.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Vex smirked at the woman, feeling a dark stir of pleasure from the breathy tone of her voice as she looked up at him. He could tell by the emotion in her eyes that she wasn\u2019t used to the choking aspect, but it was a part of the Mesmer\u2019s methods, and so he didn\u2019t care. Pushing her to the nearest wall and releasing her collar, he grabbed her hands and held them in place. \u201cYou are going to regret<\/em> that little decision, m\u2019dear,\u201d he told her with a sadistic chuckle, crushing his lips harshly to hers.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

‘No I’m not,’ she thought, but the words never made it out of her mouth, because Vex was kissing her painfully hard, taking and taking and giving no quarter whatsoever. She refused to give in right away; she wanted him to force her, to take while she resisted.
