Loki flinched. \u00a0\u201dYou say gotten out\u2026it was more of an escape, if you recall. \u00a0An escape which may or may not still be in progress.\u201d \u00a0He tangled his fingers together in thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Asgard is an awful place. \u00a0You must want to leave. \u00a0Where do you want to go? \u00a0I shapeshift into your form, ask to use the bifrost, considering you are not a wanted criminal\u2026and you follow. \u00a0No one will be the wiser. \u00a0Yes?” \u00a0He looked at her expectantly.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I \u2026 haven\u2019t been using the bifrost, Loki. Why don\u2019t you just walk with me along the ways between.” Her mouth twisted a little, and she muttered, “Then you can explain to me just why I\u2019m helping you escape. This is a bad idea.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Ah, but you will help me,” he held up a finger. \u00a0“They are watching for me everywhere. \u00a0I must be wary. \u00a0But you\u2019re right, my presence would be detected even if I did take another form.” \u00a0His eyes searched hers then, reining in his desperate swing of excitement at an evolving plot. \u00a0It was always so refreshing to have another mind with which to spin his plans, to not be so completely and utterly alone\u2026<\/p>\n

“What do you suggest?”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer looked at him for a long moment, turning thoughts in her head like flashes of lightning, or sparks from a fire. She didn’t know enough to help him with this. Would her more active skills work on Asgardians? She’d never tried — never had reason to. She didn’t know if she could turn the gaze of someone like Heimdall.<\/p>\n
