He chuckled a bit as she stole a kiss from him and watched with fascination as she put her armor back on. Victor smiled as she perched on the bed and put his paper down. He stretched as he stood then made his way over to his uniform. He pulled his pants on first and then slipped into his boots. His long sleeved top came next before he wrapped his utility belt around his waist. Victor examined each and every one of his weapons before placing them in their respective places on his belt. \u201cWha\u2019s your armor made of?” he asked while he strapped his knife to his calf and holstered his handgun.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Battle steel over kevlar, threaded with copper. Why? I already told you it\u2019s bulletproof and fireproof and a host of other things.” Summer folded her arms, tapping her fingers against the chestpiece. A smile dimpled her cheeks. \u201cIt won\u2019t fit you, if that\u2019s what you\u2019re thinking, and even if it would I don\u2019t recommend it. You wouldn\u2019t like the results.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“I was jus\u2019 curious is all love. I mean, I\u2019ve never really seen you in this sort o\u2019 light y\u2019know? No doubt in m\u2019 mind though tha\u2019 your armor will protect you, it is your job I \u2018spose.” Victor held her gaze with a small smile. \u201cBeing a vampire helps a lot in my job, especially because I absobloodylutely hated wearing even a kevlar vest.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“If you think the armour is impressive, wait until it actually comes down to combat. Speaking of which, it’s really time to go.” Summer slid off the bed and stretched, shaking her shoulders to get everything settled.
