\u201cJarvis, nefarious purposes? Really?\u201d Summer\u2019s no longer expecting an answer, actually; now that she\u2019s in the Tower she can tell what\u2019s going on. Not sure what her part in it is supposed to be, but she can tell what\u2019s going on. She drums her fingertips on the walls in the elevator, unusually impatient with the length of the ride.<\/p>\n

When she steps out, it takes a second to realise they\u2019re in the bedroom \u2014 Tony\u2019s sense in her mind is different somehow, like an echo. And then she stops in the bedroom door, and her jaw drops. It shouldn\u2019t be sensual, she thinks, it really shouldn\u2019t be, Tony bound hand and foot and Loki hovering over him with dark desire.<\/p>\n

But oh god, it is.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI quite like you the way you are,\u201d Loki replies, pressing Tony back onto the bed. \u201cIncluding rebellion.\u201d He turns at the sound of the elevator, smiling a dark smile. \u201cAh. Summer. How good of you to come. Tony has acquired telepathy,\u201d he informs her. She looks \u2014 overwhelmed. Flushed and confused.<\/p>\n

Loki beckons her closer, before leaning back over Tony. He cups one hand around the back of the genius\u2019 head, thumb sliding over his cheek. \u201cCan you see her in my mind, Tony?\u201d he whispers. \u201cShe likes you like this. Helpless to our touch. What will happen when she touches you too, our fiery empath?\u201d He kisses at Tony\u2019s throat.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cDoes that mean you\u2019re encouraging me to misbehave?\u201d Tony wonders, the corners of his mouth curling up.\u00a0 As if to emphasize his question, he gives a particularly vigorous thrash, his back arching away from the bed for a moment.\u00a0 He falls still, however, when Loki notices Summer.<\/p>\n

He tilts his head into Loki\u2019s hand, restraining the instinctive urge to look in Summer\u2019s direction.\u00a0 He can, in fact, see her, just\u2026not in the typical fashion.\u00a0 It\u2019s\u2026strange, seeing someone\u2019s mental of a person, rather than the person herself.<\/p>\n

Anything he may have said dries up at Loki\u2019s words.\u00a0 When he does speak, his tone is a bit foggy.\u00a0 \u201cHey, Sunshine.\u00a0 You just gonna enjoy the show from a distance or what?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

There are \/no\/ words. She doesn’t even try, just walks across the floor, half-dazed by the swirls of desire spinning in the room. Telepathy. That explains — a lot. The echo. The sheer, overwhelming emotion.<\/p>\n

Summer reaches out, fingers brushing against Tony’s hand — and she might as well be unclothed and spread beneath them both, oh god. “Please, darling, misbehave,” she whispers, finally, curling the fingers of her other hand around Loki’s free hand.<\/p>\n

Pulling the god upright, she kisses him, drawing it out as much as possible. “Tell me what you want.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
