And can\u2019t be made to stop. Right?\u201d She couldn\u2019t help leaning into him, into the warmth of him. \u201cVictor \u2026 this is what I do. I don\u2019t always like it, but this is what I do.\u201d She pulled in a deep breath. \u201cAnd if we do it my way, he can\u2019t hurt you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI just don\u2019t want t\u2019 see you go through this. I\u2019ve done the killing, an\u2019 I lose myself in it for a bit. Sure, I\u2019ve been near death a few times, but not as many times now tha\u2019 I\u2019m a vampire. This rogue doesn\u2019t have any idea we\u2019re coming an\u2019 I\u2019m more than ready an\u2019 willing t\u2019 put him down. If you\u2019re set on it an\u2019 you want t\u2019 then we can do it your way. I just\u2019 definitely won\u2019t be seeing his eyes in my dreams once he\u2019s down, but I want t\u2019 make sure you won\u2019t either.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve killed people before, Victor!&#8221; She was almost upset that he was so protective. Death wasn&#8217;t easy.
