\u201cYeah, they do\u2026they definitely got that part of the mythology right. Although, it doesn\u2019t really affect me the same way. It\u2019s normally used to finish off vampires to ensure they don\u2019t survive, but I learned kind of the hard way that it doesn\u2019t really\u2026y\u2019know, turn me into a pile of dust.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“He’s hurting people. And can’t be made to stop. Right?” She couldn’t help leaning into him, into the warmth of him. “Victor … this is what I do.
