She whacked him on the knuckles with the chopsticks. \u201cI said thank you, that kinda means I like it.\u201d She put a piece of chicken in her mouth and made the \u201ctoo hot\u201d face, eyes watering. Opening her mouth wide, she fanned, sucking air in through the sides. When she finally recovered, she wiped at her eyes and asked, \u201cDid you get anything for yourself?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Victor gave her a look of mock hurt before smiling. \u201cI\u2019m glad you like it, darling.\u201d His eyes grew wide at her reaction to the food, scared for a moment that she might be choking but relieved when she recovered. \u201cYou all right? An\u2019 what do you mean? T\u2019 wear? Uh, no, I didn\u2019t\u2026I figured I\u2019d be alright in my boxer briefs. I was more thinkin\u2019 of you being comfortable.\u201d \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She waggled her eyebrows at him. \u201cOkay, okay. What\u2019s the plan for tomorrow?\u201d Keeping one eye on him, she ate some more.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He smirked then took another bite of his food. \u201cWell, odds are we\u2019ll have to get him while he\u2019s hunting, which\u2019ll unfortunately be at night when he and\u00a0coincidentally, myself, will be strongest. If he\u2019s hunting, he\u2019ll be focused on the hunt and not on being hunted, y\u2019know? So, I\u2019m thinking we spend the day tracking where he\u2019s been in the surrounding area?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
