Deep breaths,\u201d he instructs as he holds her hand.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>She can feel his hand on hers, now, and his strength at her back, but it\u2019s too late to take back control of her body \u2014 it\u2019s gone until his emotions drain out of her skin. She can\u2019t help thinking that, knowing it\u2019s not quite right, but even her thoughts are chaotic and convulsed right now. She holds on tight to his hand, tears starting in her eyes and teeth gritted, until her body is her own again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d Summer gasped, blinking away the tears. She didn\u2019t let go of his hand, though her grip slackened. \u201cI\u2019m sorry, I didn\u2019t want you to see that, I\u2019m so sorry.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Tony stroked her hand with his thumb, squeezing lightly. \u201cDon\u2019t apologize babe. What happened?\u201d he asked softly, looking down at her.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;You were angry,&#8221; she muttered, &#8220;and I didn&#8217;t shield.&#8221; Her whole body ached now. &#8220;I was stupid.
