\u201cYou\u2019re always in such a hurry,\u201d Summer commented wryly. \u201cIs that any way to treat clothes, especially clothes that nice?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Distractedly, Victor murmured against her lips, \u201cCan buy more\u2026jus\u2019 clothes.\u201d He kissed her soundly again before looking into her eyes, \u201cUnless you\u2019d like me to slow down darling?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not all made of money,\u201d she murmured, a little distracted. \u201cI just want to sit here and be kissed by you, that\u2019s all.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He maneuvered them so that they were half sitting, half lying down next to each other on the couch. He kissed her chastely before pulling back and looking her in the eyes. \u201cSomething up love? You know I\u2019m just as content to sit here and lazily kiss you all day, but is everything else alright?\u201d Victor asked, as his eyes took her in, trying to figure out what was going through her mind.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201c\u2018m a little cold now, but that\u2019s all.\u201d Summer\u2019s gaze flickered over his face, a shy smile curving the corners of her mouth. \u201cSometimes I just have a hard time believing you\u2019re real.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cOh,\u201d A small and devious grin crept at the corner\u2019s of Victor\u2019s mouth, \u201cwell, I\u2019m sure I can help warm you up a bit.\u201d He leaned over her again so that their chests were flush again and kissed her deeply. \u201cDon\u2019t worry Summer, I\u2019m not goin\u2019 anywhere, an\u2019 \u2018m very real.\u201d A kiss punctuated his last statement. He took one of her hands, brought it to his chest for a moment before going on to bring it up to his cheek. \u201cSee, \u2018m right \u2018ere.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Her smile broadened. “Don’t go disappearing into smoke or shadows on me now,” she whispered. “I love you, and I would miss you, my vampire Victor.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
