\u201cI really do.\u201d Carefully she slipped past the curtain behind Victor, planting a quick kiss on his shoulderblades. \u201cOne day,\u201d she sighed, \u201cI\u2019ll be able to buy a house with a big shower and a separate tub.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Victor nodded as he lathered some shampoo in his hair. \u201cIf you ever want some help with that love you need only ask. I, myself, want to take the time out some day and build my own house,\u201d He trailed off wistfully, \u201cSome island somewhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cYou\u2019ll starve,\u201d she predicted equitably. \u201cIslands are nice, but ultimately not that practical. Shame, really.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

A laugh escaped him and he half joked, \u201cI\u2019ll fish and garden then!\u201d His smile kept up even as he recalled the camp runs he had to do back at the Institute, surviving for two and a half days given only a knife. \u201cI think I\u2019d do alright.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cNo, silly, human food is easy. Vampire food \u2026 not so simple, yes?\u201d She picked up the soap, squirting a blob into her hand, and began to wash his back. \u201cAnyway, you would miss me.\u201d That was complacent.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

His back arched a little at the sudden cold of the soap before he relaxed again. \u201cAh, yeah, believe it or not, I tend to forget myself when it comes to survival situations like that, the training has been drilled in pretty far I guess.\u201d Victor turned around for a moment to place a kiss on her nose and begin to wash her with some soap as well. \u201cYou are most definitely right, I would miss you far too much.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
