Tony laughed, sharp and bitter and harsh.\u00a0 \u201cNo, you don\u2019t say!\u201d he barked out.\u00a0 \u201cThat whole genius thing?\u00a0 Yeah, it\u2019s still a thing.\u201d\u00a0 He fell quiet then, as he turned his eyes towards the ground, blinking rapidly a few times and muttering a quiet, indistinct, \u201cit\u2019s so fucking bright out here,\u201d to himself.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cDon\u2019t be any more of a dick than you have to be,\u201d Summer snapped. \u201cPut the knife away.\u201d A singing tension pervaded her body, winding muscles tight. This wasn\u2019t the reaction she\u2019d expected. She had helped him, hadn\u2019t she? Nobody \/wanted\/ to be at the utter mercy of that kind of darkness.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
