I don\u2019t know how fast a learner I\u2019ll be, though.\u201d She sipped her drink. \u201cPlease teach me about cars, Tony,\u201d she wheedled, matching his innocent look.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cHow terrifying,\u201d he drawled in response to the threat.\u00a0 \u201cThreatening people isn\u2019t a good way to get their help,\u201d he pointed out primly, mock-offended, though he added with feigned reluctance, \u201cbut I suppose you do present a good case.\u201d\u00a0 His smile won out again.\u00a0 \u201cI would be delighted to teach you.\u00a0 We both have the patience of a hyperactive corgi, so it should be fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Well, then, stop insinuating Jarvis and I have anything to be jealous of,&#8221; she teased. &#8220;It would be miserable if &#8212; &#8221; Summer stopped short, suddenly thinking of Dummy, then continued, &#8220;if he didn&#8217;t like me.&#8221; Dinner arrived then, and she fell silent, feeling overwhelmed once again by the high class of the restaurant.
