\u201cWho said it was a joke?\u201d Tony said raising his eyebrows.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cWhy would it not be a joke? I don\u2019t think I\u2019m your type, Tony.\u201d One hand caught the back of the chair she\u2019d been sitting in earlier, and she dropped into it, not meeting Tony\u2019s eyes. She could still feel the press of his mouth to hers, and she couldn\u2019t decide if she was annoyed and being taken advantage of, or wanted more.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t have a type.\u201d Tony rolled his eyes. \u201cIf you\u2019ll remember I\u2019m pretty against generalizations. I kissed you because I wanted to.\u201d He held up his phone. \u201cNow will you shut up for like two seconds while I order the pizza?\u201d he smirked.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI am \/so\/ confused,\u201d Summer muttered to herself. She rubbed at her face. When Tony hung up the phone, she sighed. \u201cWhat the fuck is going on?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI kissed you because I wanted to. And so you would stop tormenting my fish.\u201d Tony shrugged. \u201cI don\u2019t know what you\u2019re so confused about.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cTony,\u201d Summer explained matter-of-factly, \u201cNobody wants to kiss me. I\u2019m not pretty, I\u2019m a nerd, and I\u2019m annoying and too smart. You want to give the \/real\/ reason?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cMaybe I have a little crush on you Summer,\u201d Tony said wiggling his eyebrows at her. \u201cWhat\u2019s so far fetched about a self obsessed genius having a crush on the annoying too smart nerd girl?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She spluttered, failing at an answer for a long moment. Finally she managed, “Because it’s never happened before. Not seriously. The one guy I ever dated, I asked him out. Four months later he claimed I’d cast a spell on him to make him love me.” Her face burned, confessing that. But as long as she was telling truths …<\/p>\n
