She forced her face to hold a serious expression. \u201cI have awesome hair too,\u201d she pointed out. \u201cI\u2019m still not sure I understand what I\u2019m supposed to be not resisting here.\u201d She let her green eyes go big and innocent at Tony.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re supposed to be resisting my immense charm.\u201d Tony laughed. \u201cA task many a man and woman have found to be impossible.\u201d He grinned.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not finding it that difficult.\u201d She leaned back, wrapping both hands around her cup and sipping while she watched him. \u201cYou\u2019re interesting, yes. But what do you want? What\u2019s the charm \/for\/?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t\u00a0<em>want\u00a0<\/em>anything, I can\u2019t just turn off the charm.\u201d he laughed taking a sip of his coffee. \u201cIt\u2019s like a waterfall. If you try to stop it it\u2019s just gunna wash over you harder.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;And if I just &#8230; step out of the waterfall? If I&#8217;m immune? Does that bother you?&#8221; Summer listened with more than ears, this time. He was so intriguing, bantering back and forth with, yes, charming ease. But she&#8217;d already been burned by charming boys who wanted nothing more than to humiliate her. She wasn&#8217;t going to fall for that again.
