Victor smirked a little at her response. \u201cWell I guess it\u2019s a good thing I like your surprises then.\u201d His eyes saddened for a moment, thinking of his childhood friend. Jakober had been his only friend at the Institute and every now and again they saw each other but things had turned out too differently for them. Victor\u2019s eyes brightened then, \u201cOf course.\u201d He turned around with the remote in hand and turned the fairly big TV hanging on the wall in front of the couches on, quickly launching Netflix. \u201cCare for anything to eat or drink darling?\u201d he asked while he scrolled through Netflix.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
