A low, possessive growl came from him. \u201cAre you sure, Summer?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Sweetly, she told him, \u201cIf you ignore my safeword, I\u2019ll light you on fire. I\u2019m sure. Come play.\u201d She backed up another step.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Victor chuckled at her fire quip. \u201cI just want to make sure you trust me.\u201d He murmured before stepping forward, with a mind to corner her against the wall. His whole demeanor changed and he let the predator aspect in him come out entirely. Only the outermost edge of his eyes were honey brown and he let his fangs elongate. \u201cAnd just where do you think you\u2019re going, Summer?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She glanced over her shoulder. Nowhere to go. \u201cTo the bed,\u201d she murmured. \u201cBecause I trust you. I can look right inside your soul, darlin\u2019, and see right to the bottom of it.\u201d She looked him in the eyes, challenging.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He smirked a little at the challenge in her eyes, enjoying it. His fangs flashed in the light a little. \u201cWe\u2019ll go to the bed when I\u2019m good and ready to go there. Right now, I want you another way.\u201d He pressed her against the wall and grazed his fangs over her skin, not breaking the skin but applying just enough pressure to make them noticeable.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
