Johnny didn\u2019t quite understand why there were so many gorgeous women in one room, but honestly he wasn\u2019t going to question it. A smirk on his face, he decided now would be an absolutely splendid time to flirt and he already could see four of the most beautiful women in the room. Ms. Marvel, two fiery redheads, and a brunette, almost feline in her features. Where to begin? He stepped forward, into the view of the closest women to him. \u201cHey,\u201d he started. \u201cHow are you?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Summer smiled up at the blond man greeting her. \u201cPretty good. How about you? Mr Storm, isn\u2019t it?\u201d Amusingly, despite their similarities and overlapping acquaintances, the two of them had never met before, not in any official capacity, not even in the course of their hero work. Up close, he was very easy on the eyes, and she could already sense his mildly predatory attitude.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cJohnny\u2019s fine, you know.\u201d He squeezed his eyes shut for a moment, grasping for her name in the deep, dark, jumbled recesses of his mind. Didn\u2019t it have something to do with a season? Autumn? Pepper? No, that was seasoning\u00a0<\/em>. \u201cYou\u2019re Summer, right?\u201d Success. Sweet, sweet success. Mentally he patted himself on the back, actually knowing somebody\u2019s name correctly, even if it was just a guess.<\/strike><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s right,\u201d she replied sweetly. \u201cI didn\u2019t realise you knew who I was, Johnny. Don\u2019t you usually have other things on your mind when we run across each other?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Johnny\u2019s eyebrows shot up at what she was insinuating. Not saying she was wrong in her assumption, just that Johnny definitely did not see that coming. \u201cMy brain can multi-task.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
