It was busy enough, swirling with people bundled in coats and scarves, gloves and hats. She leaned back on her heels a little, rocking in time to the music in her earbuds, singing softly under her breath. Her long braids shone copper-bright in the westering sunlight against grey wool, wrapped loosely about her petite figure.<\/p>\n<p>She grinned at the person next her, feeling good and wanting to share it.<\/p>\n<p><em>I can\u2019t walk through life<\/em><br \/><em><span>facing backwards<br \/><\/span><span>I have tried<br \/> tried more than once<br \/> to just make sure<br \/> that I was denied<br \/> the future I\u2019ve been searching for <br \/>I spun around<br \/> and hurt no more<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/3f3eb042d84a7911b9d6988e70769160\/tumblr_inline_mgwdx5P8Jb1rs8qze.gif\" \/><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<div>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"image\" src=\"http:\/\/media.tumblr.com\/361d7aa9a09a5c7d58eb45934ee1ac54\/tumblr_inline_mfskisO8Wb1ra9s7x.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoop.\u201d Suzie spoke aloud, grinning at the red-haired woman beside her who seemed to be singing. She used her index finger to poke her, repeating the boop noise once again. \u201cHehe!\u201d Suzie giggled with a warm, friendly smile on her face, though\u00a0partially\u00a0due to the fact that she was wrapped up in a scarves and coats although the woman\u2019s openness and\u00a0approachability was a\u00a0contributing\u00a0factor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0She patted down her rosy cheeks while gazing off into the far distance at the ice-skaters. \u201cSorry about that &#8211; I just kinda wanted your attention. Hehe! Oh this is gonna sound really weird but can <em>you<\/em>\u00a0ice skate<span>? Like properly cause well\u2026I need a tutor of sorts and well\u2026I\u2019m not too good with finding those generally, most teachers seem rather mean lately but you looked nice so I thought I\u2019d say hey &#8211; but I digress, can you ice skate?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;A little.&#8221; Summer grinned back. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know that you want me for a teacher for proper skating, though. I&#8217;m a southern girl. My skates have wheels, mostly.
