Street vendors, cabbies \u2026 it\u2019s all very different from what I\u2019m used to. So they let you have vacation, huh? And you get here, and the first thing you do is get stuck with me.\u201d Summer turned it into a joke, sticking her tongue out. \u201cI suppose we\u2019ll just have to make sure you have a good time. That is, if you want me?\u201d She wasn\u2019t even conscious of omitting the last word, too focussed on Robert\u2019s face and on maintaining the good mood. Okay, so maybe she was still starstruck.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He laughed softly and shook his head. \u201cIf I didn\u2019t I wouldn\u2019t be here.\u201d He just watched her for a moment. \u201cI somehow find it hard to believe we could have a bad time together.\u201d He saw the island\u2019s dock. \u201cNot too far a walk now. Too bad the park closes at sundown. We get about an hour at least.\u201d He smiled as he pushed off the rail. \u201cJust as well, though, it\u2019s kind of hard to talk on rides.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Summer flushed. &#8220;Sez you,&#8221; she retorted. &#8220;I shriek with delight just fine on rides, thank you.
