\u201cIt is a lot of curiosity,\u201d she admitted. She eyed the glove with a fair amount of her own curiosity. \u201cI\u2019m Summer. Summer Rainault. I helped clean up around here after the, um, the Manhattan Incident, and I thought I\u2019d like to see what it looked like in good condition.\u201d<\/p>\n

I\u2019ll admit it looks a lot better now with the buildings fixed and the streets cleaned.\u201d He chuckled and gestured for her to come closer. \u201cDon\u2019t worry, I\u2019m not going to blast you; here, I\u2019ll take it off. I\u2019ve finished anyway.\u201d Tony removed the forearm of his armor and set it on the desk, looking her over. \u201cIf you don\u2019t mind me asking, Summer, you weren\u2019t one of the volunteers, were you? You did just break into my Tower, even if I allowed it. Tell you what, you share with me what you came here to do and I\u2019ll let you try the glove.\u201d He offered with a smirk, attentive to her reactions and response.<\/p>\n

\u201cI actually live here, not that far away. I\u2019m not exactly a volunteer, though.\u201d She nodded toward the computer. \u201cYou can find me in the SHIELD databases as a consultant. Search-and-rescue. I really really did just fly up the face of your Tower to see what it looked like all cleaned up.\u201d Her return smile matched his, maybe a little more playful. \u201cAnd I was a little curious about you.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cYou flew up here?\u201d Was Tony\u2019s first question, piercing her with an interested look. But smiled again as he added. \u201cAnd? What did you think?\u201d Already JARVIS was running the search for Summer Rainault, the SHIELD consultant, but the engineer did honestly prefer getting the information straight from the source, later confirming it by reading what reports he could find. \u201cMy life\u2019s an open book, everyone knows everything. You\u2019re welcome to stay if it\u2019ll satisfy your curiosity; I want to know what you do. So you help save people. What are your special abilities?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer laughed at him. “In order, then. Yes; I like, a lot; I’m an empath with fire control abilities.” She folded her arms and leaned against the wall. “Anything else you want to know? I don’t keep secrets; ask me anything.”<\/p>\n
