Stop hurting. But it\u2019s a cheat, if you \u2014 I mean, if I \u2014 anyway. It\u2019s cheating. The pain will still be there afterward.\u201d She sighed heavily. \u201cNo, if ever you bite me, it shouldn\u2019t be an escape for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Victor thought for a moment then looked her in the eye. \u201cYou deserve a reprieve though. It\u2019s not cheating it\u2019s\u201d, he thought for a moment, trying to find the right words, \u201cusing your resources. You\u2019d be letting me help you and allowing me to give you a break if only for a time. I\u2019ll still be here afterwards to help you through everything.
