For that, I love you.\u201d He cocked his head a bit and regarded her, \u201cWell, it would hurt a little, I can be gentle, just graze the skin, or I can bite you. Either way, I promise you wouldn\u2019t become a vampire. Why?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOh,\u201d she sighed, \u201cthe stories all tell like it\u2019s some kind of bliss, so your, um, victims don\u2019t want to run away screaming. It was a stupid idea, really.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Victor\u2019s eyebrows shot up a bit. \u201cWell, if you\u2019re into it, the feeling is fantastic. The feeling of bliss depends on the vampire I suppose and how they release the\u00a0endorphins. In all honesty, I\u2019ve never bitten anyone that wasn\u2019t a vampire. The people I feed from have all been contracts I\u2019ve had so I never worried about them running away.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Summer opened her mouth, hesitated, then said, &#8220;I was going to say, that&#8217;s cheating, but on the whole I think I prefer you, um, eat that way.
