The only way I\u2019m going to survive it is drugs.\u201d This sigh was bitter, and she blinked another tear away. \u201cTell me you love me, Victor,\u201d she whispered. \u201cTell me how much you love me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Victor was surprised for a moment but leaned in by her ear, \u201cI love you, Summer. I love you very much and I\u2019ll never stop.\u201d He punctuated each word with a tender kiss to her jaw. \u201cI\u2019d offer to go with you for support but I don\u2019t want to intrude on something like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Even now, under the weight of it all, his voice still shot a shiver down her spine. \u201cHaving you there would be more appreciated than I can express. Please come with me. Come with and keep me sane. And hold me. Just,\u201d her voice cracked again, \u201chold me.\u201d She felt like she was falling, wished she was falling, flying, anywhere but here. \u201cMake me not think.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cOk, love, whatever you want. I\u2019ll be there for you Summer, I\u2019ll do my best to keep you sane.\u201d Victor planted a kiss on her nose, forehead, jaw, cheeks and eyes. \u201cWhat do you want me to do? What can make you not think about it, love?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t know.&#8221; It was nearly a wail.
