Escaping from her family and the chaos of a Rainault Christmas, Summer slipped into her bedroom \u2014 well, the bedroom that had used to be hers \u2014 and dialled Tony\u2019s number on her cell phone. Hopefully, he\u2019d hear it, and answer, because she really just needed to talk to someone who wasn\u2019t a member of her family and didn\u2019t have the same ground-in attitudes.<\/p>\n

The part where she couldn\u2019t hear the opposing emotions from him echoing inside her head helped too.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Anthony yelled something at his older counterpart that sounded a lot like \u2018suck my dick, jackass!\u2019 before he picked up the phone with a slight bite to his voice. \u201cHello?\u201d The teen echoed over the line, giving Tony the bird as he passed, and trying to calm his emotions. \u201cSorry if that had a slight bite, hello, who am I speaking to?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer chortled under her breath, flopping down onto her bed and arranging herself comfortably to use the speaker. \u201cTony, it\u2019s Summer. Who are you talking to?\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cNo one important,\u201d he replied, as Tony came into his line of vision and started making faces, causing his annoyance to spike. \u201cJust someone who\u2019s going to find their balls gone tomorrow morning if they don\u2019t knock it the fuck off.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
