Hell is yourself.\u201d Summer looked up at the man \u2014 Jack Harkness, he\u2019d called himself \u2014 a world of aching sadness in her face. \u201cI don\u2019t think there\u2019s anything you can do, but thanks for asking.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cYourself?\u201d He started to frown slightly, his own thoughts going about what she\u2019d just said. \u201c\u2026You are right, Summer, Hell is yourself. But, you can\u2019t let that control your actions.. you can ask for help.\u201d He shrugged, not really knowing what else to say about the subject. His hand dropped from her shoulder and he sighed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cI\u2019m the help,\u201d she told Jack. \u201cPeople don\u2019t help me, I help them. It\u2019s the way it works. I accept that. I just \u2014 sometimes I have to get away. I have to run and hope I can run fast enough to escape myself.\u201d Reaching out, Summer touched Jack\u2019s arm. \u201cPlease don\u2019t let my hurting make you hurt. I couldn\u2019t bear that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
