Impulsively she kissed the centre of his back. \u201cLet me take Helios home and we\u2019ll skydance,\u201d she whispered against his skin.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

He watched her as she circled behind him, wings lowering so he he could see over them.\u00a0\u00a0 They twitched upwards when she set her hand between them, and one side of his mouth curled in a fought back smile.<\/p>\n

\u2026Skydance?\u00a0 What even.\u00a0 Well, only one way to find out.\u00a0 \u201cThen I guess you\u2019d best be quick,\u201d he said, folding his wings in close again so he could turn to face her without smacking her with one on accident.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“You’ll see me if you look, Tony. I shan’t be long.” With efficient motions she packed up her gear, sweeping a protesting Helios up into a shoulder carry. He waved his tail at Tony as they went past, blue eyes pleading.
