*smiles wryly* I rather like yours. Summer\u2019s my favourite season. Let\u2019s see\u2026how do I explain this without making it into an anatomy lesson? There are flame sacs just beneath my skin, and fire escapes through my pores. I can control blazes, I s\u2019pose, and can manipulate fires that I didn\u2019t cause. I\u2019ve only been allowed to use my power since last year, though. What about yours?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

I wonder if you could take mine away from me, then? Yours seems simpler. My real mutation is empathy. But what I take in, that emotional energy, has to \/go\/ somewhere. Somehow, I can sort of \u2026 twist it, and call fire with it. I can\u2019t actually do anything with already existing fire, but I can do anything at all with the stuff I call. *grins* I fly, like the Human Torch.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Wow. Even though I hate heights, the flying bit sounds cool. I can barely deal with my emotions, let alone anyone else\u2019s. I dunno\u2026I\u2019ve never met another firechild before. I\u2019m not sure how this whole thing works. I guess I\u2019m still fine-tuning everything and working out the kinks.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
