Given that cue, it actually didn\u2019t take her long to find the right vehicle, and she circled it a couple times, clicking fingernails against the finish. \u201cSo beautiful. You just surround yourself with beautiful things, don\u2019t you? I think I\u2019m jealous, I don\u2019t fit here.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019d prefer it that way,\u201d said with a smile, following slightly behind her. But the smile didn\u2019t last, and faded into a frown. \u201cHey now\u2026\u201d he said, touching her arm again, and resting it there until she looked at him. \u201cDon\u2019t say that. It\u2019s not true.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;That&#8217;s real sweet of you to say,&#8221; she told him, a hint of southern drawl creeping into her words. &#8220;I&#8217;m fine with how I look, really.
