She sighed and moved to sit on the couch, bringing Summer\u2019s body into her lap, \u201dI should be the one apologizing, I shouldn\u2019t have snapped on you for helping me, I just have so troubles I haven\u2019t gotten past.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer patted whatever part of Deva\u2019s body was closest to hand. \u201c\u2018s okay. \u2018m here f\u2019r you.\u201d Another muscle spasm warped her body, spine arching into a bow. \u201cF-fuck,\u201d she swore, tears sliding down her face.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She hissed as she pulled her closer, slowly rocking her, humming slightly, \u201dIt\u2019s ok breathe, relax, focus on me,\u201d She whispered, her eyes turning a dark shade of green as she ran her fingers though Summer\u2019s hair.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That was the last bad one, and it only took a few minutes for Summer\u2019s breathing to ease back to normal. She buried her face in Deva\u2019s knee, brushing away the tears. \u201cI\u2019m okay now,\u201d she said raggedly, sitting up and shoving hair out of her face.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She lifted an eyebrow as she looked at the other girl, she was worried. But she wasn\u2019t going to show it. \u201dWhat was all that about anyway?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“You dumped a lot of anger, and I wasn’t doing a thing to shield it out. It’s gotta go somewhere, hon.” She flopped over, trying to get the muscle that had been\u00a0spasming\u00a0to stretch out. “The convulsions are the default result.” Into the cushions, she went on, “I hurt you, I pushed too hard, so I paid for it.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
