Marie walked back into the apartment, her moment of anger faded. Pushing her boots against the wall she walked over to where Summer was and sat on the floor. Her gun on the table.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Through the bone-twisting spasms, Summer heard the door open and close again. She fought her eyes open to see Deva sitting down on the floor beside her, and a hissed breath escaped. \u201cS-sorry \u2026 \u201c<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She sighed and moved to sit on the couch, bringing Summer\u2019s body into her lap, \u201dI should be the one apologizing, I shouldn\u2019t have snapped on you for helping me, I just have so troubles I haven\u2019t gotten past.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Summer patted whatever part of Deva\u2019s body was closest to hand. \u201c\u2018s okay. \u2018m here f\u2019r you.\u201d Another muscle spasm warped her body, spine arching into a bow. \u201cF-fuck,\u201d she swore, tears sliding down her face.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

She hissed as she pulled her closer, slowly rocking her, humming slightly, \u201dIt’s ok breathe, relax, focus on me,\u201d She whispered, her eyes turning a dark shade of green as she ran her fingers though Summer\u2019s hair.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That was the last bad one, and it only took a few minutes for Summer’s breathing to ease back to normal. She buried her face in Deva’s knee, brushing away the tears. “I’m okay now,” she said raggedly, sitting up and shoving hair out of her face.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
