I know you love smut. I love smut. I made a Courtesan character, of god damn course I enjoy smut. I also know that people of all ages enjoy smut, which is a totally fine thing. When I was underage I\u2019d look at porn and stuff, kids do that, you know how it is. I can\u2019t get up anyone\u2019s ass about that (no pun intended). \u00a0Unfortunately, the thing about roleplaying smut is that\u2026\u00a0<\/p>\n

if you\u2019re underage, it\u2019s illegal.<\/strong><\/em> It\u2019s even MORE illegal to rp smut with someone who is of age. If you are under the age of 18 and you roleplay smut with someone of age, that person can be legally prosecuted as a sex offender. Since we are on a public blogging site, where people have posted their ages, it is probably NOT wise to rp smut if you are underage. Like, at all. Since Tumblr is based in the USA, users are expected to conduct themselves within the confines of US law.\u00a0<\/p>\n

You could be charged with something, not just your of-age partner. IIRC it is considered solicitation of a minor as an adult, which is a sex crime. Just\u2026 don\u2019t.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m really not going into the technicalities here.\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you are underage, do not RP smut<\/em>. If you are underage, ESPECIALLY do not RP smut with someone of legal age.<\/em><\/p>\n

KNOW YOUR SMUT PARTNER\u2019S AGE. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY.<\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t encourage this, but if you SIMPLY MUST roleplay smut and you\u2019re underage, do it over instant message clients. Don\u2019t do it publicly. That is just asking for trouble.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t me being a grouchy ~*~legal adult~*~, this is me trying to make sure someone doesn\u2019t get in legal trouble for rping smut over a blogging site with a minor.\u00a0<\/p>\n

This is how it relates to me.<\/p>\n

I \/am\/ a legal adult. Well over. I will, can, and do rp smut. I enjoy the flirting and wordplay that leads up to it.<\/p>\n

I am not going to \/ask\/ you if you are of age. Yes, this might get me in trouble. I expect you, the other mun(s), to be responsible enough about yourself and your playing to a) tell me to stop when I make you uncomfortable, and b) tell me what lines you may have due to age, creed, race, or gender. This includes being underage, etc.<\/p>\n

There’s a reason I have my actual details, as a mun, posted right there up front on my blog. This is that reason. Do me the favour, do yourself the favour, of checking it out, of being honest to me, and to yourself, and to anyone you might play with.<\/p>\n
