Summer thanked the gods Tony wasn\u2019t a telepath. And that she knew how not to project. No sense wasting a perfectly good psuedo-vacation by screwing it up from the start.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Really, it was a good thing Tony couldn\u2019t read thoughts. \u00a0He was already well enough appraised of his own looks. \u00a0Any more ego stroking would just be massively excessive and make him even more obnoxious than usual. \u00a0So it was fortunate that he had no idea what she was thinking.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cIf I promise not to touch anything without permission, may I see the workshop?\u201d Because, oh, the computers! Summer yearned to see those computers. \u201cPlease?\u201d She gave Tony big, innocent eyes, complete with clasped hands. \u201cI\u2019ll even put my hair up so nothing catches.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\u201cOh, I\u2019m not worried about you touching anything. \u00a0But it\u2019s a hazard zone in there, right now. \u00a0I\u2019ve been working on a project. \u00a0And I don\u2019t want to have to clean up anything you might not be allowed to see.\u201d \u00a0Evidently, Bambi eyes had no effect on Tony Stark. \u00a0\u201dWhat do you want to see in there, anyway?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After a brief internal struggle, Summer answered honestly, “Mostly the computers. I’ve always had a computer, and I just … a man like you, with that suit? You must have some of the best tech on the planet.” She glanced around. “I am going to get so lost in here. Where is my bedroom, anyway?”<\/p>\n
