Summer wasn\u2019t even entirely sure why she\u2019d even bothered to buy any tickets to that celebrity lottery. Okay, so it was Tony Stark, THE Iron Man. Okay, so they were cheap, and it was a good cause.<\/p>\n

She\u2019d certainly never expected to WIN.<\/p>\n

Now the petite redhead was standing outside Stark Tower, six months in New York at least enabling her to not gape upwards, waiting to actually meet the man whose life she\u2019d get to be a part of for the next three days. She shoved her hands into her blue jean pockets, idly swaying back and forth on the balls of her feet.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To be entirely honest, Tony hadn\u2019t been so keen on the whole auction thing. \u00a0But Pepper had talked him into it. \u00a0Something about good PR, the proceeds going to a good cause, and \u2018for goodness sake, Tony, it\u2019s only three days, you can make it.\u2019<\/p>\n

So he stepped out of the glass doors onto the sidewalk, looking around as he did. \u00a0There was already someone out there, presumably waiting, and he peered at her over the edge of his sunglasses, giving her a once over. \u00a0Not bad. \u00a0Definitely not bad.<\/p>\n

His most charming grin in place, Tony strolled up to her. \u00a0\u201dYou wouldn\u2019t happen to be waiting out here for me, would you?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

“Unless you’re Mr. Stark’s identical twin kept hidden from the world for decades just to double for him in public … I believe I am.” Rumour claimed Tony Stark was a man who liked sass, and by gods, Summer could do sass. She pulled a slender, long-fingered hand out of her pocket and offered it, low, with a smile. “I’m Summer Rainault.”<\/p>\n

For a man of his age, Tony was a good looking piece, especially out of the suit. Cocky smile, neat goatee, tall dark and handsome check … it was possible this could be an extremely amusing three days.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
